Instructional Design

Academic Institutions

I am most knowledgeable in the Canvas LMS, but can work with any LMS that your institution uses. I have a working knowledge of HTML, and will take your content and optimize it for adult learners at any level. I can work with faculty from any discipline to design your course.

Commercial or Organizational

I am proficient in PowerPoint, Adobe Spark, Genially, and Canva, and I mainly use Articulate Storyline as an authoring tool. I can also set up a course in Moodle for your organization. I can design around any topic provided, including:

  • New employee training

  • Health care/benefits training
  • Continuing education/professional development

  • Diversity and inclusion training

Editing

I have experience in article writing, content writing, and more. I can perform the following services for your article, blog content, ad copy, academic writing, nonfiction work, or creative fiction work:

Proofreading

This is the last step in your writing and includes checking for grammar, spelling, and problems with syntax. This is not comprehensive and your content will not be edited.

Copy Editing

This includes proofreading plus improvements in style, formatting, and flow. There may be a need to change content and rework sentences or paragraphs.

Content Editing

This includes copy editing and may also include heavy content editing such as removing or adding sections of content, rewriting paragraphs or sections, or more depending on the nature of the work. Any content written or added will become the property of the original author.
